From a 3D sketch to a friend on your keys — five steps, all done by hand.
- 1. DesignedEvery friend starts as a 3D model, sketched digitally and tuned joint by joint so the tail swings and the legs bend without snapping.
- 2. 3D PrintedThe design is sliced and printed layer by layer in eco-friendly PLA, on printers we watch closely for warping, stringing and color changes.
- 3. AssembledOnce printed, the moving parts are cleaned, test-flexed and assembled by hand — no glue holding joints that are meant to move.
- 4. PackedEach piece gets a final quality check, then goes into eco-friendly gift packaging, ready to hand over as-is.
- 5. DeliveredOrders are prepared in Usingen, Germany, and shipped within the EU with no import charges for EU buyers.
The Material
We print with PLA, a biodegradable plastic made from renewable plant starch rather than petroleum. It's sturdy enough for everyday carry, but keep it away from direct heat — it softens above 50°C, so it's not meant for a hot car or a sunny windowsill.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to make and ship my order?
Every piece is printed to order. Printing and hand-assembly take 1-3 working days, then EU delivery usually takes another 2-7 working days. Personalised items sit at the longer end of that range.
Is PLA safe for children?
PLA is a biodegradable plastic made from plant starch and is food-contact safe in its raw form. Our pieces are not toys for children under 3 because they contain small parts, and printed items should not be chewed.
Can I personalise a name tag or door sign?
Yes. Name tags and door signs can be printed with any name and a colour of your choice. Enter the name at checkout, or message us first if you want a custom colour combination.
Do EU customers pay import charges?
No. Everything is made in Usingen, Germany and ships from inside the EU, so there are no customs or import fees for EU buyers.
How do I care for a 3D printed piece?
Wipe it clean with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from direct heat. PLA begins to soften above 50C, so avoid hot cars and sunny windowsills.
Can I return an item?
Returns depend on the product. Non-personalised items bought directly online generally have the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
